Barang - Scarab

$47.77

This is a brass scarab, or Hercules beetle, to be used in barang-style hexing and curses. This beautifully crafted beetle has legs and wings in resting position symbolizing submission.

In Cebuano sorcery (and other sorcery lineages) there are old-ways that involve raising an insect for baneful magick. The sorcerer or sorceress places a hex on an enemy, then performs a ritual in which their familiar insect finds the enemy, enters their body, and causes illness or other “bad luck.” This is one form of hexing called barang.

This is not a real scarab but a representation of one, sculpted out of brass. Its owner can use it to visualize and manifest during hexing.

Trinidad enchanted and consecrated this barang scarab during a Dark Moon at Mount Umunhum in California using Water Serpent Dharma sorcery.
